Publishing data

After having successfully accessed the admin portal, head over to Public Dataset at the left side navigation bar, there you will see the public dataset table which is for listing all dataset that have been shared to public. To create a new dataset, on the top right side, click on the Add Dataset button.

Then, you will be directed to new page. On the create new dataset page, you will be asked to fill in all required information about your dataset such as dataset name, its category, description, You will be directed to a new page. On the create new dataset page, you will be asked to fill in all required information about your dataset, including

• Dataset Name : Provide a name of your dataset.
• Category : Choose a category which your dataset belong to.
• Description : Provide descriptive information about your dataset, can also include additional details or any caveats related to the data.
• Manage By (Org) : Choose Your Organization which manages the dataset.
• Data Source (Org) : Provide the original source or organization which your dataset belong to.
• Frequency : Choose how frequent your dataset is updated.
• Coverage Start-End : Mark start and end period for which the dataset has been collected.

Next, you will be required to upload your dataset. Currently, we accept many formats including CSV, XSLX, PDF, JSON and GEOJSON. Whereas, for CSV and XSLX file format, you need to define column legend which means, to provide information about each column in the data such as its data type and additional specifications.

After that, you are ready to publish your dataset by just clicking on the Publish button.

Managing Data

We provide some action options so that you can manage your public dataset.

• Edit : This Edit action allow you to make changes to your dataset. Once you save changes, the dataset will be automatically updated both in admin portal and public site.
• Unpublish/Publish : This Unpublish action allow you to temporarily take down your data from public site without needing to delete it. While Publish action allow you to publish your data back to public site.
• Delete : This Delete action allow you to permanently take down your data from public site.
• View : This View action will link/redirect you to the public site, allowing you to see how your dataset look like in public eyes.
