Health Achievement Report - 2017

This national report presents Cambodia’s health sector achievements in 2017 and priority work directions for 2018. Prepared within the framework of the Health Strategic Plan 2016 to 2020, it reviews progress in health service delivery, reproductive health, maternal, newborn and child health, immunization, nutrition, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, other communicable diseases, non-communicable diseases, mental health, eye health, public health issues, health financing, social health protection, human resources for health, medicines and medical supplies, laboratory and blood services, health infrastructure, health information systems, regulation, private health services, governance, key achievements, main challenges, and priority interventions for the following year. The report is useful for understanding Cambodia’s national health system performance, policy priorities, service quality, equity, and sector planning.
