National Policy on Science, Technology and Innovation 2020–2030

This document presents Cambodia’s National Policy on Science, Technology and Innovation for 2020–2030. It sets out the national vision, objectives, policy goals, strategic directions, action plans, monitoring and evaluation framework, and key terminology related to science, technology, innovation, research and development. The policy aims to strengthen Cambodia’s science, technology and innovation foundation to support sustainable and inclusive socio-economic development, improve quality of life, promote research and development, build human resources, strengthen the national innovation ecosystem, support technology adoption, and contribute to Cambodia’s long-term development vision. he document includes policy priorities such as developing qualified human resources, promoting research and development activities, adapting and absorbing international technology, strengthening innovation systems, improving governance mechanisms, creating legal frameworks, mobilizing financial support, and building public trust in national technology products and services. It is useful for understanding Cambodia’s national direction in STI development, government planning, innovation policy, research capacity building, technology transfer, and long-term development planning from 2020 to 2030.
